| Promoting Organic Agriculture in Lahan: An Initiative by Global Eco Agri Concern With the objective of promoting sustainable, eco-friendly, and farmer-focused agriculture in Nepal, Global Eco Agri Concern successfully conducted an organic farming training program in Lahan, Siraha District. The program aimed to empower local farmers by reducing dependency on chemical-based farming and encouraging the adoption of natural and organic agricultural practices. The training covered practical and technical knowledge on Vermi Compost, Yellow Sticky Traps, Lure Traps, Kadalo Traps, Basula Water Traps, Decomposer, and Jeevatu. Farmers were provided with hands-on demonstrations along with theoretical understanding, enabling them to easily apply these techniques in their own farms. The Vermi Compost session focused on producing high-quality organic fertilizer using organic waste and earthworms. This method improves soil fertility, enhances crop productivity, and maintains long-term soil health while reducing the need for chemical fertilizers. For eco-friendly pest management, participants were trained on the use of Yellow Sticky Traps, Lure Traps, Kadalo Traps, and Basula Water Traps. These techniques help control harmful insects without the use of toxic pesticides, ensuring food safety and environmental protection. The use of Decomposer and Jeevatu was also demonstrated to convert crop residues and organic waste into valuable compost efficiently. This approach supports the concept of Zero Waste Farming and helps reduce farming costs. This training program significantly contributed to strengthening the knowledge and confidence of local farmers. The initiative by Global Eco Agri Concern reflects a strong commitment to sustainable agriculture, environmental conservation, and rural livelihood enhancement, with plans to expand similar programs to other regions in the future. | नेपालको कृषि प्रणालीलाई दिगो, सुरक्षित र वातावरणमैत्री बनाउने उद्देश्यका साथ Global Eco Agri Concern ले सिरहा जिल्लाको लहान क्षेत्रमा स्थानीय किसानहरूका लागि जैविक कृषि सम्बन्धी विशेष तालिम कार्यक्रम सञ्चालन गरेको छ। यस कार्यक्रमको मुख्य उद्देश्य रासायनिक कृषि प्रणालीको निर्भरता घटाई जैविक तथा प्राकृतिक खेती प्रणाली अपनाउन किसानहरूलाई सक्षम बनाउनु हो। तालिम कार्यक्रममा Vermi Compost, Yellow Sticky Trap, Lure Trap, Kadalo , Basula Water Trap, Decomposer, Jeevatu लगायतका आधुनिक जैविक कृषि समाधानहरूबारे व्यावहारिक तथा प्राविधिक ज्ञान प्रदान गरिएको थियो। सहभागी किसानहरूलाई सैद्धान्तिक जानकारीसँगै प्रत्यक्ष प्रयोगात्मक तालिम दिइएकोले उनीहरूले सजिलै आफ्नो खेतबारीमा यी प्रविधिहरू अपनाउन सक्ने भएका छन्। Vermi Compost सम्बन्धी तालिममा जैविक फोहोर, गोबर र किरा प्रयोग गरी उच्च गुणस्तरीय जैविक मल उत्पादन गर्ने तरिका सिकाइएको थियो। यस मलले माटोको उर्वराशक्ति बढाउने, बालीको उत्पादन सुधार गर्ने तथा दीर्घकालीन रूपमा माटो स्वस्थ राख्न मद्दत गर्छ। त्यसैगरी, कीरा व्यवस्थापनका लागि Yellow Sticky Trap, Lure Trap, Kadalo , Basula ,Water Trap जस्ता वातावरणमैत्री उपायहरू प्रयोग गर्ने तरिका प्रस्तुत गरियो। यी ट्र्यापहरूले विषादी प्रयोग नगरी हानिकारक कीराको संख्या नियन्त्रण गर्न सहयोग पुर्याउँछन्, जसले मानव स्वास्थ्य र वातावरण दुवै सुरक्षित रहन्छ। Decomposer र Jeevatu प्रयोगमार्फत फसल अवशेष र जैविक फोहोरलाई छिटो मलमा रूपान्तरण गर्ने तरिका पनि तालिममा समावेश थियो। यसले Zero Waste Farming अवधारणालाई प्रवर्द्धन गर्दै उत्पादन लागत घटाउन सहयोग गर्छ। यस तालिमले स्थानीय किसानहरूलाई ज्ञान, सीप र आत्मनिर्भरता प्रदान गरेको छ। Global Eco Agri Concern को यो पहल दिगो कृषि, वातावरण संरक्षण र किसानको आर्थिक सशक्तिकरणतर्फको महत्वपूर्ण कदम हो र भविष्यमा अन्य क्षेत्रमा पनि यस्ता कार्यक्रम विस्तार गर्ने योजना रहेको छ। |
